- Description: Kendi moulded with figures of Hotei. Tall panelled neck, rolled-over lip. Round upper shoulder, moulded collar of lappets. Sides modelled in high relief to represent squatting figure of Hotei on each side, moulded ascending fan shape between opposite quadrangular spout. Strong red, blue, turquoise and black enamels. A lappet band on the rim, a sketchy scroll pattern on either side of the neck; a band of ruyi lappet design on the shoulders. The lines of moulding picked out in enamels, the ground between decorated with scrolling branches.
