The Collectors: T.W. Jackson

T W Jackson, collector and tutor was remembered as an admirable and sympathetic tutor. He helped his students by showing them how to use their own judgement. Jackson was one of the best known figures in artistic circles in Oxford. An enthusiastic collector of prints and ceramics from archaeological deposits, he extended the seventeenth and eighteenth-century collection in the Antiquities department.
