- Description: Cup. Underglaze blue and Kakiemon enamels, no yellow. Inside, two red prunus blossoms. On outside, three white panels containing identical sprays of peony from blue rocks, reserved on red basketwork. Double underglaze blue circles around rim and foot.
The panelling in red is unusual in Kakiemon, but is paralleled in the very large bowl at Dresden, Illustrated by Reichel, 1981, pl. 23.
