  • Description: Wall vase. Waisted and of square section, shaped like a quadrangular hourglass. Heavily potted with moulded and incised band to represent rope around waist. Two circular notched handles. Lip flat and inverted, base flat and unglazed. One side pierced at top with round hole for suspension as a wall vase. Kakiemon palette. On one side, prunus with a bird perching at the top. On the two adjoining sides of the upper half are a flying bird and a small prunus spray. The rest of the body plain.
