Museum Accession No.: EA1988.12 Object type: Dish Kiln/Location: Mino Historical Period/Date: Momoyama, Late 16th century Material: Stoneware Dimensions: H. 5.8 cm Provenance: Description: Stoneware dish of sub-rectangular shape, slightly lobed & raised on four short feet. The interior moulded & carved at the corners, which are painted with formal patterns. The centre & the low walls boldly painted with flowering grasses in grey under the pinkish-white feldspathic glaze. Old lacquer repairs to the rim.
